Dr. Sandra L. Miles

Dr. Miles graduated from the University of Indianapolis in 1985 with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. After working for 3 years as a research biochemist, she decided that she wanted to dedicate a career to creating “pretty smiles.” So in 1988, dental school began at Indiana University School of Dentistry and there hasn't been any looking back. After the birth of her twins in 1991, she continued to work hard at her dental school studies and clinical work. She graduated in May of 1992, just before moving to North Carolina to take the state dental boards. She received her license in June of 1992 and began practicing the “art” of dentistry.

She opened her own practice in 1996 and then expanded when her daughter joined in 2022. She and her staff have strived, from the onset of the dental practice, to commit themselves to offer only the highest-quality service using the most up-to-date equipment and techniques for their patients. Dr. Jaimee A. Michael

Dr. Michael received her B.S. from East Carolina University in 2014 and D.D.S. from UNC Adams School of Dentistry in 2022. Leading up to dental school, she worked at an oral surgery office and volunteered at several NC M.O.M. Dental Clinics, statewide, and St. Mary’s Dental Clinic, locally.

During her time at UNC, she participated in organizations such as the American Student Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry, became a student coordinator for the Samaritan Health Center Dental Clinic in Durham, and attended dental conferences in Greenville, SC and Atlanta, GA. After graduation, she moved back home to Wilmington to join her mother’s practice. She is very excited for the opportunity to work alongside this amazing team and is dedicated to patient comfort, understanding, and care.

Outside of the office, Dr. Michael loves spending quality time with family and friends, whether it's going out to local festivals or shows, or enjoying a firepit hangout or movie night at home. She and her husband, Joey, who owns and operates Essential Gas Services Inc., are both so proud of their sons, Hunter and Jamison.

Tracy Coleman

Tracy has worked with us since April 2003. Her older son, Brycen, will graduate from college in December 2026, and her younger son, Kellan, just started his junior year at Topsail High School. They both play baseball, and they are good at it! This keeps the whole family busy with games and traveling. She also enjoys the boat and spending time with her family. Their newest addition came in February 2020. A Boxer named Kai.

Joanie Eschert, CDA

Joanie came to our team in July 2007. She has been enjoying her career as a dental assistant since 1993. She is originally from New Jersey, where she received her formal education in dental assisting. She has lived in Wilmington since she graduated in 1994 and is married to Bill, the love of her life.

She has enjoyed the transition from her long-time employment with her previous dentist to our office. She has been using these skills to help our patient family obtain the best-quality dentistry available. Her enthusiasm transcends to those around her, and her genuine concern helps to make her patients feel comfortable and assured during their visits.

We all look forward to having her with us for many more years to come. In addition to being a phenomenal dental assistant, she loves to read and cook, and she enjoys chocolate any chance she gets. She is also the proud grandma of a beautiful boy!

Bethany Brasili, CDA

Bethany has worked as a certified dental assistant for over 25 years. She worked with us shortly after the practice opened for six years, and has just recently returned. She brings a passion for developing personal relationships with her patients, and is committed to making each and every patients trip to the office, an enjoyable one!

Austin Ott, DAII

Austin relocated from Wake Forest to Wilmington to become Dr. Michael’s full time dental assistant in April 2023. She graduated from Wake Technical Community College Dental Assisting program in 2019. Through her compassionate personality, she enjoys helping patients with both Dr. Miles and Dr. Michael. She is a hands on person and loves working with her patients and her dental family.

When Austin is not working, she enjoys doing CrossFit, going to Topsail beach, and exploring what Wilmington has to offer. She is a fur mamma to Peanut! Her little brown wiener dog.

Beverly Creech, RDH

Beverly has been dedicated to providing compassionate, quality dental care for many years. She graduated from Coastal Carolina Community College in1989 and has enjoyed a rewarding career helping patients maintain healthy, beautiful smiles. She believes in creating a comfortable and welcoming experience for every patient while providing personalized preventative care and education. Building lasting relationships with patients and helping them feel confident about their oral health are some of the most rewarding aspects of her work.

Outside of the office, Beverly has been married for 39 years and is the proud mother of two adult children. She enjoys spending time at the beach, traveling, and making memories with her family. She is proud to be a part of the team at Miles & Michael Dentistry and looks forward to caring for patients and their families.

Michael is our official greeter of the office. He is a Clumber Spaniel. He loves carrying his toys around, and getting all the belly rubs!!
